Is overnight success possible? Is it easy to achieve success in the short term? Nowadays, we hear from people around us or on social media that most people have become famous and successful by chance. So, how much do we know about the background? Do we know those people? Are we aware of how much they struggled, and how long they spent time in the field where they are now known as successful? Let’s go back to the question we asked at the beginning of the paragraph, Is overnight success possible? In this article, we will try to reflect the thoughts of successful people about overnight success from our own perspective. We wish you pleasant reading, dear people.
An American entrepreneur named Gary Vaynerchuk, a Belarusian immigrant, says that he receives 5-30 e-mails a day about people giving up, people about to give up, or people waiting to be persuaded not to give up. Every day, 5-30 emails reach Gary Vee, note that it is just to Gary Vaynerchuk. No famous or successful person has ever achieved what they have overnight. Even with the names we see as the most successful, for example, Lionel Messi, Lebron James, Leonardo DiCaprio, etc. It is possible to count the names till morning. Behind shining successes, there has always been the effort of parents, coaches, directors, and teachers for years. However, there is only one thing that needs to be known with success, persistence. Success cannot be achieved or achieved without persistence. You can never be successful without spending a certain amount of time and gaining experience on the issues you are dealing with and exhausting yourself with.
Many successful people state that they work much harder than other people. For example, while Elon Musk was coding PayPal, which he founded, he stated that the website was open to users during the day and that he and his brother worked until the morning to edit the website.

Additionally, Gary Vaynerchuk stated that from the age of 14 to 32, he worked at his father’s wine store, hauling wine into the trunks of his friends’ cars, and that he was constantly working while they had fun. As we see in these famous names, the only thing that can distinguish us from other people is our work ethic. The more we practice, the more we can close the gap.

Let’s give a recent example without going too far: In late 2019, a first occurred in the history of Turkish sports. Turkish national athlete İbrahim Çolak won the gold medal in the ring apparatus at the World Championships in Artistic Gymnastics.. Explaining to a newspaper how he achieved this success, Çolak stated one significant thing.

“I have been working for 19 years for those 50 seconds that brought me the world championship.”
This tells us only one thing. No matter what you do, behind every success lies many years of effort and experience. This reminds us once again why success will not come overnight. In addition, it is worth remembering that paths that seem like shortcuts to success will cost us more than normal in the long run.
The most successful people in the world primarily state that people should focus on the process rather than the results. If you commit yourself to the process, you will undergo a metamorphosis that includes not giving up, creatively overcoming setbacks and obstacles, and trying new strategies, achieving your goal more important and valuable. This metamorphosis and change represent true value. People only want the reward at the end of the goal, and cannot understand the value and power of this evolution.
Each new level will present a different you.
-Leonardo DiCaprio

Successful and happy people work to learn and get educated. But unhappy people work only for money.
– Robert Kiyosaki (Author of “Rich Dad and Poor Dad”)
A reporter asked Henry Ford, when he was a new billionaire, “What would you do if you lost all your money?” Henry Ford confidently said: “I would have gotten it all back in 5 years.” The message we need to take away here is that most people have doubts about whether they can regain the things they have earned. That’s why most people don’t learn the important lessons that underlie their existence.

In conclusion
There is no such thing as overnight success. There is a long process behind every accomplishment. This process involves effort, experience, obstacles, and failures. No one was successful on their first trial, not even Thomas Edison. Edison went through more than 1000 unsuccessful attempts to invent the simple light bulbs we use today. What if he gave up after a few trials? Thank you for reading us, I wish you a great day and a better life.
